Anantnag (JandK), Apr 03(ANI): Speaking to mediapersons about BJP chief Amit Shah's comments on abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A, Congress leader Ghulam Nabui Azad on Wednesday said, "If he (Amit Shah) has said so then it is all the more reason for the people of Kashmir to see that the BJP is defeated and Congress is brought back to power into the national level. Further speaking on Congress' manifesto, Azad said, "In Kupwara somebody asked me why so many chapters for Kashmiri people in the manifesto. This time Rahul Gandhi ji was more pragmatic and he broke all the records, he announced the manifesto headed by former finance minister and senior leaders eight months before the election. We have squeezed our manifesto but whatever was necessary to be incorporated because never we have done such exhaustive work. It is very inclusive and touches the heart of every citizen of our country."
Bokakhat (Assam), Apr 03 (ANI): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday took pot shots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public rally in Assam's Bokakhat. Hailing his party's Nyuntam Aay Yojana (NYAY) promise, Rahul Gandhi said, "Narendra Modi unemployed people, took your money. One of the farm workers said, "We had come here to cut the harvest. Owner told us to burn the trash on field we didn't know the cubs were there. A woman spotted them later and told us about this." Cause behind the death is not known.

Anantnag (JandK), Apr 03 (ANI): PDP chief and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti filed her nomination from Anantnag parliamentary constituency on Wednesday. Soon after filing her nomination, Mufti said, "If according to Amit Shah, 2020 will be the deadline of article 370, then 2020 will also be the deadline for JandK's relation with India." Agartala (Tripura), Apr 03 (ANI): Tripura police on Wednesday destroyed cannabis and drugs worth Rs 7 crore in Agartala's RK Nagar area. Over 70,000 kg cannabis has reportedly been seized by the police and security forces in last one year. Deputy Inspector General (Northern Range) of Tripura, Lalhminga Darlong said, "Ganja, cough syrup and heroine was destroyed. Ganja is 4, 752 kgs, cough syrup 56,261 bottles, tablets 355754 and heroine 1kg 96 grams."

Pasighat (Arunachal Pradesh), Apr 03 (ANI): Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday reacted on Congress accusing BJP of indulging in 'cash for vote' in state. Debunking all the allegations, CM Khandu said that Congress itself indulged in cash for votes. He also asserted that the probe will be conducted by Election Commission and Income Tax department.
