He said that it's not CM Banerjee who is alleging and raising question at Election Commission its her fear of losing election. "Earlier, Mamata didi used to say that the elections should be conducted into 6-7 phases, and if Election Commission has taken any decision for peaceful elections why Mamata didi is frustrated," he said. Recently, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on questioned the Election Commission's rationale to conduct assembly elections in the state in 8 phases and wondered if the poll dates had been announced as per the suggestions of PM Narendra Modi and HM Shah.
Lucknow (UP), Feb 28 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary (Information) Navneet Sehgal informed about the current status of the state in regards to COVID-19 fresh infections. He said that state has recorded 100 new active cases of COVID-19 in past 24 hours and 143 people have been recovered on the same duration. 5,92,699 people have been recovered and discharged till date. The positivity rate of the state is 0.01 per cent.

Madurai (TN), Feb 26 (ANI): Madurai airport has been ranked second in the Customer Satisfaction Survey 2020 (CSS) after competing with 56 airports of India. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) conducted the round-II of the customer care satisfaction between July and December 2020. Madurai airport jumped from fourth position in 2019 to second in 2020. Parameters on which airport was marked included overall satisfaction, access, passport control, security, amenities, environment, services and travel details.
Mumbai, Feb 26 (ANI): Mumbai Police deployed its personnel outside business tycoon Mukesh Ambani's house after explosive materials were found near his residence on Thursday. A car carrying unassembled explosive materials was found abandoned at Carmichael Road in South Mumbai on Thursday evening, near the house of Reliance Industries chairman. The bomb squad and police teams have rushed to the site and a probe is underway.

Anurag Srivastava said, "They have dismissed his mental health concerns and the judge has observed that Nirav Modi has conspired to destroy evidence and intimidate witnesses. Now since the magistrate court has recommended Nirav Modi's extradition to the UK Home Secretary." The Indian businessman had fled the country in early 2018 as the news of Punjab National Bank scam worth around Rs 14,000 crore surfaced.
