Guwahati (Assam), Mar 04 (ANI): Several passengers were screened for deadly coronavirus at LGBI Airport in Guwahati on March 04. According to Union Health Ministry, two suspected COVID-19 cases in Assam were found negative. Meanwhile, the total number of cases of deadly virus in India has reported 28 till now. Several airports in India are on high alert passengers are being monitored and screened by the authorities.
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that he will not celebrate 'Holi' this year, because of coronavirus and the recent violence which took place in Delhi, in which many people lost their lives. He further said, "People are in pain that is why neither I nor any minister or MLA will celebrate Holi." Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also announced that he will not participate in 'Holi' event to avoid mass gathering.
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, held a press conference in the national capital on Wednesday 04. Speaking at the conference, Kejriwal said that a state-level task force has been constituted to control the situation arising due to coronavirus. Adding in it, he further said the task force will be chaired by him. He said, "A state-level task force has been constituted to control the situation arising due to coronavirus. It will be chaired by me. It includes members from several agencies, departments and corporations. Each member has been assigned a role." The total number of cases of deadly virus in India has reported 28 till now.
Kolkata (West Bengal), Mar 04 (ANI): Congress party workers and their student wing staged protest against the attack at Delhi residence of MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. However, later police detained Congress workers. Residence of Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury was attacked by miscreants on March 03. House staff was also thrashed by miscreants.
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Amid growing number of positive cases in India, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan told that Delhi hospitals to develop good quality isolation wards. He said, "We have requested all hospitals in Delhi to develop good quality isolation wards, in order to stay prepared if more cases of coronavirus are suspected in the national capital. We have talked to administration of Delhi to use a cluster approach for stopping coronavirus from spreading. On conducting contact tracing of the person tested positive in Delhi, we came to know that he infected 6 members of his family who are in Agra. All 6 members tested positive for coronavirus."
Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 04 (ANI): Ghaziabad district administration has issued advisory to the schools and private hospitals on coronavirus alert. While speaking to ANI, the District Magistrate (DM) of Ghaziabad, Dr Ajay Shankar Pandey spoke on coronavirus alert. He said, "We have declared an emergency number where any person can call and can give any kind of information related to coronavirus. We have given advisory to schools to aware students about coronavirus." "Private hospitals have also been given advisory regarding coronavirus patients. We have received all negative report of 153 people who were being tested yesterday," Ghaziabad DM added.

He said, "Wherever there are Congress-ruled government in Indian states, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is using all its power to break govt." New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Army Chief General MM Naravane attended the Indian Army International Seminar with the theme 'Changing Characteristics of Land Warfare and Its Impact on the Military' in Delhi. On changing character of warfare, Army Chief General MM Naravane said, "Warfare evolves faster than war fighters do. Icons of the 20th-century battlefield like large main battle tanks and fighter aircraft are on their way out." He further said, "Apart from strengthening conventional progress, we are also focusing on dynamic response. We are refining our capacities on both the western and northern borders. We are developing both kinetic and non-kinetic methods. We are looking at using block chain technologies and direct energy weapons like a laser in future."
Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 04 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Meerut Dr Rajkumar spoke on coronavirus alert. He said, "We have created a separate isolation ward of 56-beds in all medical colleges." "We have also given advisory to all the private hospitals that they should create a separate isolation ward in their respective hospitals," Dr Rajkumar added.
Bhopal (MP)/ New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Senior BJP leaders refuted Congress claims on horse-trading in Madhya Pradesh. BJP president of Madhya Pradesh, VD Sharma said that the ruling party is suffering from internal conflict and BJP has nothing to do with these allegations. He said, "The Madhya Pradesh government led by Kamal Nath ji is suffering from internal conflicts. The allegations and counter-allegations in Madhya Pradesh are unfortunate. BJP has nothing to do with it." Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Congress is fabricating these allegations. He said, "Congress is expert in manipulation. Now they are making counter-allegations. If they thinks they might gain something with these fabricated talks, it's not true. On contrary, they are getting exposed."
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister, Jitu Patwari alleged that former MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is offering money to Congress MLAs from state. He said, "Different MLAs were promised Rupees 35, 50, 65 crores. Where does this money come from? When we went to the hotel, we learned that MLAs were beaten up. One MLA was taken away by BJP leader Narottam Mishra. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is mastermind of this entire conspiracy. It shows that BJP is taking revenge from people for voting it to power." When asked about the news of few MLAs being taken to Bengaluru, Jitu Patwari asserted that those MLAs will also make clarifications through audio and videos, which will make everything clear.

New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): With the growing numbers of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in India, the medical stores at AIIMS in Delhi stocked masks and sanitizers to provide convenience to the people. With the guidelines of Union Health Ministry for using masks and washing hands frequently and usage of sanitizers, the sales of these items has increased rapidly. A medical store owner said, "We have availed sanitizers and masks in our shop and the sale has rapidly increased of these items. People are alert now and are using masks and sanitizers. " The other one said, "There are some who are spreading rumours regarding coronavirus so it should not happen." A total of 6 cases of coronavirus have been registered in India so far. According to Health Ministry, the fresh cases of COVID-19 have been reported from New Delhi, Telangana, Rajasthan and three from Kerala.
Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 04 (ANI): Another positive case of coronavirus came in light when a person came from Italy to Delhi screened positive. The sample of four people from his family who lives in Bulandshahr has been sent for test. CMO of Bulandshahr, Dr KN Tiwari said, "There is no positive case of coronavirus in Bulandshahr. As you all are aware that a person in Delhi is confirmed positive who came from Italy, so he belongs to Bulandshahr. But his family has not shown any sign of coronavirus. So, we sent sample of 4 people for test in Lucknow lab because they have the contact history with someone who showed positive signs of coronavirus."

New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices were flat during early hours on Wednesday as investors assessed the economic fallout from fast-spreading coronavirus. At 10:15 am, the BSE SandP Sensex was down by 6 points to 38,618 but the Nifty 50 edged higher by 12 points at 11,316. Sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty metal losing by nearly 1 per cent, PSU bank by 0.7 per cent and realty by 0.6 per cent. Among stocks, Tata Steel lost by 1.9 per cent at Rs 380.30 per share while Vedanta was down by 1.8 per cent, and JSW Steel by 0.9 per cent.
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Congress leader Digvijaya Singh said that former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wanted to claim for the post chief minister in state. He said, "Last night Bharatiya Janata Party chartered 2 planes to take MLAs to Bengaluru. There were 4 MLAs in 12-seater plane. There were 3 MLAs from Congress, and one independent MLA. Their phones were taken away. These MLAs were taken away against their will." He further added, "The second charter plane was supposed to leave with MLAs at night. The chartered plane was told to leave at 9 am in morning when they didn't get any MLAs, then Shivraj Singh Chouhan who was about to claim chief ministerial post, returned to Bhopal with his men."
