COVID-19: Process of setting up of isolation wards underway in 25 hospitals, says Manish Sisodia

New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia on Tuesday said that in twenty five hospitals, the process of setting up of isolation wards is underway to take precautionary measures on the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). He said, "Chief Minister was informed about the one positive case. In 25 hospitals, the process of setting up of isolation wards is underway. We have to take care of personal hygiene and develop a habit of washing our hands frequently." The deadly COVID-19 virus has infected more than 88,000 people across the globe and killed over 3,000 people.

RJD MLAs stage protest outside Bihar Assembly over law and order situation in state

Patna (Bihar), Mar 03 (ANI): The MLAs of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) staged protest outside the Bihar Assembly on March 03. 27 arrested, over 1000 detained in Delhi violence so far: Joint CP

New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in the national capital on March 03, the Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police, Alok Kumar, said, "More than 400 FIRs have been registered in Delhi violence matter. We do not want that any incident should leave unreported and are working in that direction." "We have arrested 27 people by now and 1060 have been detained under different sections. Happy that some airlines started in-flight wi-fi services: HS Puri

New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): The Central Government permitted airlines operating in India to provide in-flight wi-fi services to passengers. Reacting on the matter, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Tuesday said, "I am happy that some airlines have already started acting on it. It is entirely on the airlines to make it complimentary or to charge for providing the service."

Meghalaya HM to chair peace meeting over clashes: East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner

Shillong (Meghalaya), Mar 03 (ANI): At least four people had sustained injuries in clashes between members of Khasi Students' Union and local non-tribals in East Khasi Hills District on February 28. 'Indian-2' accident: Kamal Haasan appears before police for enquiry

Chennai, Mar 03 (ANI): South superstar Kamal Haasan appeared before Chennai Police Commissioner on March 03 for the enquiry in connection with 'Indian-2' movie accident. At least three people died and ten got injured after a crane collapsed on set of movie 'Indian-2' on February 19. The incident happened during shooting of the film. Madhu, personal assistant to director Shankar, assistant director Krishna and a staffer, Chandran lost their lives in the accident. 'Indian-2' stars Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles.

COVID-19: All precautionary measures are being taken, says Karnataka Health Minister

Bengaluru (Karnataka), Mar 03 (ANI): Karnataka Health Minister B Sriramulu on Tuesday said that the state government are taking all precautionary measures on the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). Adding to it, he further said, till now, all test results have been negative and no need to panic. He said, "All precautionary measures are being taken. Noida school shut for sanitisation after students came in contact with coronavirus patient

Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 03 (ANI): Chief Medical Officer of GautamBuddha Nagar Anurag Bhargav said that administration has shut a school in Noida for sanitisation after its students came in contact with a man who got infected by COVID-19. The infected man is admitted to a hospital in Delhi. "Several schoolmates of children of a COVID-19 infected man came into contact with him at a party. We have closed down the school to sanitize it. The infected man is admitted to a hospital in Delhi. We are also sanitizing the school bus in which the children travelled," said Bharghav as new cases of coronavirus were reported in India this week.

1,500 new cases of coronavirus outside of China: WHO

New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): The World Health Organization (WHO) has registered more than 1,500 new cases of the novel coronavirus outside of China in the past 24 hours. The death toll outside of China has gone up by 24 to 128.
