Decision to withdraw Sharad Pawar's security is politics by central govt: Maha Home Minister

Gondia (Maharashtra), Jan 25 (ANI): Speaking on Bhima-Koregaon case, Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh said, "Central government has handed over the investigation of Bhima-Koregaon case to National Investigation Agency (NIA) without the state government's permission. As the Home Minister of the state, I am raising my objection to it." On reports of withdrawal of NCP Chief Sharad Pawar's security, Deshmukh said, "Sharad Pawar had Z+ security, he has served as the chief minister of Maharashtra for several years. Decision to withdraw his security is politics by the central government, this is not good."

CM Gehlot inaugurates Jaipur Literature Festival

Jaipur (Rajasthan), January 24 (ANI): Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated the 13th edition of Jaipur Literature Festival. During the inaugural function of the 5-day event, CM Gehlot and other guests released the English title 'Timeless Tales from Marwar' of 'Batan Ri Phulwari'. AIIMS to increase isolation ward's capacity if required for coronavirus: Director

New Delhi, Jan 24 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, AIIMS Delhi Director, Dr Randeep Guleria on coronavirus outbreak said that the hospital has the capacity to increase isolation facilities and we can able to provide more and more facilities if required. He furthers said, "AIIMS has an isolation ward. All precautionary measures are also in place for healthcare workers such as masks and hand sanitizers so that infection does not spread." In December, public health officials from China informed the World Health Organization (WHO) that they had a problem. An unknown new virus was causing pneumonia-like illness in the city of Wuhan. They quickly determined that it was coronavirus which was rapidly spreading through and outside of Wuhan. Mangaluru airport bomb case: Accused Adithya Rao taken to crime spot

Mangalore, Jan 24 (ANI): In the latest development in Mangaluru airport bomb case, police officials took accused Adithya Rao to the crime spot for investigation. He allegedly placed the bomb at the airport on Jan 20. Rao on January 22 surrendered himself to police. Components of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a bag were found at Mangaluru airport on January 20. Bomb disposal and detection squad safely destroyed the IED by controlled detonation. Police had also announced that a man detected in a CCTV footage leaving the bag.

Eating habits of construction workers created suspicion over their nationality: Kailash Vijayvargiya

Indore (MP), Jan 24 (ANI): While addressing a public gathering in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on January 23, the National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kailash Vijayvargiya said he got suspicious over workers working at his house because of their 'strange' eating habits. He said, "I suspected that there were some non-Indian among construction labourers who worked at my house recently. Their strange eating habits aroused suspicion about their nationality." "When a new room was being constructed at my house recently, I found eating habits of some of the workers strange as they were eating only 'poha' (flattened rice) in large quantity," Vijayvargiya added. "After talking to their supervisor and the building contractor I suspected that these workers were from Bangladesh. What is happening in our country?
