Apple Pulls Down Vaping-related Apps from App Store: Report

New Delhi, Nov 16 (ANI): Apple is reportedly removing vaping-related apps from its official App Store amid growing health concerns over e-cigarettes.According to a report on Axios, the iPhone maker is planning to remove all 181 vaping-related apps. The move comes after CDC reported at least 42 people dying from lung illness related to vaping. While there had been no direct sales of vaping products from the Apple App Store, companion apps, which allow people to control the temperature and lighting of their vape pens, had been available. Apple stopped accepting new apps since June.

Scientists reveal white noise improves hearing

New Delhi, Nov 16 (ANI): Cochlear implants could be stimulated with an effect similar to white noise in order to improve hearing of their users, according to a new study. With a background of continuous white noise, hearing pure sounds becomes even more precise, researchers have shown. Researchers led by Prof. Dr Tania Rinaldi Barkat from the Department of Biomedicine at the University of Basel have investigated the neuronal foundation of sound perception and sound discrimination in a challenging sound environment.

Ranjan Gogoi gets farewell at SC premises

New Delhi, Nov 15 (ANI): Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi was given farewell at the Supreme Court premises on November 15 in Delhi. Today is CJI Gogoi's last working day at Supreme Court. Parrot smuggling gang busted in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur (UP), Nov 15 (ANI): Wildlife Crime Control Bureau along with the help of Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) busted a gang who were smuggling endangered parrots. Six persons including a woman have been apprehended. The gang was smuggling the parrots from Bahraich to Gorakhpur. Around 500 parrots have been seized.

The film, based on the novel 'The Fault in Our Stars', was earlier scheduled to release on November 29, this year.
