Mumbai, Nov 11 (ANI): Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was brought back home after being treated for chest infection at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on November 11. She was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital after she complained of difficulty in breathing during the early hours of Monday. According to team of Mangeshkar, Anusha Srinivasan Iyer said, "She had viral chest congestion and keeping her age in mind as a precautionary measure. She has checked in to Breach Candy Hospital in order to ensure antibiotics on time to prevent any more infection. She is stable and recovering."

Mumbai, Nov 11 (ANI): Amid Maharashtra government formation tussle, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray and other leaders of the party met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on November 11. Earlier, Uddhav Thackeray had a telephonic conversation with Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. In the latest development, three of the independent candidates extended their support to Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena and Congress conversation took place amid efforts to form a government after BJP, which emerged as the single-largest party in Maharashtra assembly polls with 105 seats, declined to form the government following differences with Shiv Sena on power sharing. After BJP declined to form the government, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari had asked Shiv Sena about its ability to form government in the state.
Ayodhya (UP), Nov 11 (ANI): After the Supreme Court's verdict in Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case, a beautiful evening 'aarti' was performed on the banks of Sarayu river on November 11 in Ayodhya. The priests followed the devotional ritual of 'aarti' using brass burner lamp. Hundreds of devotees participated in the 'aarti'. The Supreme Court on November 09 directed the Central government to hand over the disputed site at Ayodhya for the construction of a temple and set up a trust for the purpose. The apex court further directed the central government to give a suitable plot of land measuring five acres in Ayodhya to the Sunni Waqf Board.

Lambasting at Shiv Sena, he said that Shiv Sena is trying to achieve power by hook or crook without considering of the fact that people of Maharashtra gave their mandate to the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance. "It's unfair for the people because they have given the mandate to the alliance, now what Shiv Sena is doing, you can't have the mandate by having just 56 seats. Probably now they are thinking to take the support from their biggest critics and it will be the last nail in the coffin of the Shiv Sena, hopefully BJP will emerged stronger in Maharashtra. Jaipur (Rajasthan), November 11 (ANI): The Rajasthan Government has demanded Rs. 2645 crore from the Centre as assistance under National Disaster Relief Fund (NDRF) for the damage caused by the excessive rain and flood during this monsoon season. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot gave approval to this memorandum during a high-level meeting of Disaster Management and Relief Department held at Chief Minister's Office in Jaipur. The state has demanded Rs. 1642 crore under Agriculture Input Subsidy to be given to farmers as compensation for the crop damage, Rs. 369 crore as compensation for the damage caused by land erosion and Rs. 395 crore for repairing of damaged roads and bridges under SDRF rules. The Chief Minister directed the officials to coordinate with the concerned departments of the Centre to get an early release of funds from the Centre so that early relief and assistance could be provided to the people affected by this natural disaster.

He was accorded the honour for giving second language status to Sanskrit in the state. Speaking at the event, CM Thakur said, "Sanskrit is not just the language of our country, it can also be a global language." "Despite living in the age of technology and progressing, Sanskrit has its own importance. Even in technology, the most suitable language found for computers was Sanskrit," he added. Delhi government has given two-day relaxation in wake of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev as a major reason for a spike in pollution. While speaking to ANI, few people came out with their problems on air pollution, a local said, "We have facing itching problems in our eyes while walking. We also feels breathing problem in the air." People in national capital have been facing pollution's wrath. "We are facing problems in the air that's why we are wearing mask. Delhi-NCR people are facing more problems because of it," a local residence of Ghaziabad told ANI.
Srinagar (JandK), Nov 11 (ANI): Railway authorities conducted track inspection and trial run of trains in Srinagar. The train services in Kashmir will resume in union territory from tomorrow. Services were suspended in the valley since August 5 after abrogation of Article 370.
