Nirogi Rajasthan will be a part of syllabus: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), February 25 (ANI): Review meeting on the progress of Nirogi Rajasthan campaign and status of setting-up of new medical colleges in the state was organised at Chief Minister's Office in Jaipur. In the meeting Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that it was for the first time that a state government started such a big programme on preventive healthcare. It would inspire people of Rajasthan to remain fit and to take proper treatment. He directed the officials to start a Nirogi Helpline soon so that health-related consultancy could be made easily available over phone.CM Gehlot said that health-related important information will be included in the school curriculum as well, so that this awareness campaign could reach to every household and person of the state. New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): While addressing the joint statement in New Delhi, with United States President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that strengthening in defence ties between India and US is an important aspect of the partnership. "Today we discussed every important aspect of US-India partnership, be it defence and security, energy strategic partnership, trade or people to people ties. "Our teams have made tremendous progress for a comprehensive trade agreement and I'm optimistic we can reach a deal of great importance to both countries. Since I took office, US exports to India are up nearly 60 percent and exports of high quality American energy have grown by 500 percent," said President Trump.

Clashes wreak havoc in Northeast Delhi, Section 144 imposed

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Section 144 has been imposed in Khajuri Khas and Bhajanpura areas of Northeast Delhi. Security has been beefed up in the area. At least seven people have lost lives in clashes between pro and anti-CAA protestors in the area. There has been massive loss of property as several vehicles, shops and petrol pump were also ablaze. Stone pelting started last week between two groups. Over 100 people have been wounded in the clashes.

MoS Kishan Reddy should go back to Delhi and control situation: Owaisi

Hyderabad, Feb 25 (ANI): AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on February 25 reacted on MoS Home G Kishan Reddy remarks on ongoing violence between pro and anti-CAA protests in Delhi. He hit out at Reddy by saying that the MoS Home Affairs should go back to Delhi and control the situation there. "He (G Kishan Reddy) should go back to Delhi, why is he here in Hyderabad? NMCG signs agreement to develop ghats in Badrinath and Gangotri

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Mission for clean Ganga (NMCG), State Program Management Group-Uttarakhand (SPMG-UK) and Indorama Charitable Trust (ICT) for up-gradation and development of Ghats and Crematoria in Badrinath. The MoU was signed in presence of Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajenendra Singh Shekhawat. Director General of NMCG Rajiv Ranjan Mishra and other senior officials also graced the event. The Total cost of the development project is Rs 26.64 crore. Ganga River holds great significance the life of millions of people in the country as it passes through five states of the India.

7 dead in Northeast Delhi violence, 35 companies of paramilitary forces deployed

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Northeast Delhi continues to see intense violence from last few days after protesters for and against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) clashed and started pelting stones at each other, set vehicles and shops on fire. Seven people, including a cop, have been killed and nearly 100 were injured in unprecedented violence. While speaking to media in the national capital on February 25, the Joint Commissioner of Police, Alok Kumar said, "We are continuously taking action and forces have been deployed in Brahampuri, Maujpur, Chand Bagh, and other areas." "We are dispersing any gathering and peace committees are holding talks with people to maintain peace," Joint CP added. As per the information of Delhi Police, 35 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed in Northeast Delhi along with Special Cell, Crime Branch and Economic Offences Wing (EOW) officials. Local police from different districts of Delhi have also been called in.

Delhi violence incident is intentional and we are tolerating it because we believe that sooner or later people will understand that CAA is not against the 130 crore people, not even against Pakistan, Bangladesh or any religion. But still deliberately they are trying to malign Narendra Modi government. This is very wrong. Indian Government is not weak. Violence is not any form of patriotism nor protest." He further said that such violence during visit of some foreign dignitaries is wrong and would investigate on it.
