Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Jan 30 (ANI): Kerala Government is sharply monitoring first case of coronavirus in India, which was confirmed in the state of Kerala on January 30 as Minister KK Shailaja informed that CM Vijayan has given advice to take all necessary steps and to trace patient's movement and people who were in contact with infected earlier. "One positive case has been detected; the patient was from Wuhan University in China. We are currently trying to trace the contact of that person from which vehicle she used to travel at that time and family members too. CM has given us advice to take all the necessary measures," said KK Shailaja. Earlier today one positive case of coronavirus was found in Kerala.
New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): 19-year-old boy identified as Gopal Sharma opened fire during anti-CAA protest in Jamia Nagar on January 30. Culprit was apprehended and is being questioned, said East District (Delhi) DCP Chinmoy Biswal. A student named Shadab also received injuries after culprit opened fire. His condition is out of danger, informed DCP Biswal. "Student (Shadab Farooq) has sustained injuries in his left hand. He has been referred to trauma centre from hospital. Doctors say he is out of danger," said DCP while taking to ANI.
New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a monetary penalty of Rs one crore on HDFC Bank for non-compliance of Know Your Customer (KYC) norms. "The penalty has been imposed in exercise of powers vested in RBI under the provisions of section 47 A (1) (c) read with section 46 (4) (i) of the Banking Regulation Act 1949, taking into account the failure of the bank to adhere to the aforesaid direction issued by RBI," said the central bank in a statement. It had made observations following an on-site inspection for supervisory evaluation of HDFC Bank for the financial year ended March 31, 2017. A scrutiny of 39 current accounts opened by its customers for bidding in initial public offer was conducted. The RBI said HDFC Bank failed to exercise ongoing due diligence in those accounts. "Government is focused only on getting Bills passed but we also drew their attention towards sinking economy, rising unemployment and Kashmir. We told them Farooq Abdullah be released so that he can attend Parliament, others be released too," said GN Azad. "The govt is least bothered about the people protesting on streets over CAA-NRC. Convicts' lawyer, AP Singh said, "The judges have dismissed the curative petition, I want to apologize for saying this but whether the five judges of the court or the President of this country are not God, who can never commit any mistake. The patient is stable and is being closely monitored. As many as 170 people have died so far, while over 1700 cases have been registered in China alone. Thermal scans have been places at international airports across India. Several suspected cases have emerged in parts of country. Coronavirus causes illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. A novel coronavirus is a new strain that had not been previously identified in humans.
