Madda Ram Kawasi hails from Naxal-hit Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh, and is playing cricket for last two years. Tendulkar had tweeted a video in which Madda was seen playing cricket, and told his followers to start their new year with the "inspirational video".

The BSE S-P Sensex closed 321 points up at 41,627 while the Nifty 50 edged higher by 100 points at 12,283.
