The victim passed away during treatment in Delhi on December 06 following cardiac arrest at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. The 23-year-old Unnao rape victim was burnt alive on Dec 05. The 5 accused have being taken to jail from court after being remanded to 14-day judicial custody.

Delhi fire: Will take action against culprits, says Minister Imran Hussain

New Delhi, Dec 08 (ANI): Delhi Food and Civil Supplies Minister Imran Hussain reacted over massive fire that took place at Anaj Mandi area in old Delhi. He said that government will investigate the matter and will take action against culprits. Massive fire that broke out at a factory on Dec 08 claimed at least 43 lives and more than 50 people have been rescued and were admitted to a nearby hospital.

35 dead after fire breaks out at building in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 08 (ANI): Massive fire broke out at a building in Delhi's Anaj Mandi on Dec 08. At least 30 fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flames. More than 50 people have been rescued and admitted to nearby hospital. Reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.

Forest dept reuses waste plastic bottles to plant, grow saplings in Chhattisgarh's Balrampur

Balrampur (Chhattisgarh), Dec 08 (ANI): As part of the initiative by district forest department, waste plastic bottles are being recycled to plant and grow saplings at Ramanujganj nursery in Chhattisgarh's Balrampur. The women collect bottles from the city and recycle it to plant and grow saplings. The bottles are cut and a sapling is planted by filling it with fertile soil. The initiative was adopted after a ban was imposed on the use of single-use plastics.

Google ends support for Explorer Edition of Glass

New Delhi, Dec 08 (ANI): Google has announced that it will end support for the Explorer Edition its augmented reality Glass device. As Engaged notes, Google will roll out one more update before ending its support for the Explorer version. However, it will continue supporting the Enterprise Edition. Users will be required to manually download, unzip, and install the file for the latest and final update which will remain available only until February 25, 2022. Google Glass, announced first in 2012, is widely considered a failed product for being a half-finished and anti-privacy device.
