Hema Malini raises terror of Monkeys in LS, demands Monkey Safari in Mathura

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Hema Malini, BJP MP from Mathura in Lok Sabha expressed concerns over the terrors of monkeys. She demanded a Monkey Safari in Mathura to ensure safety of the monkeys. "I've demanded a Monkey Safari (in Mathura) for safety of monkeys. Also, there should be fruit bearing trees in forests. Monkeys have picked up food habits of humans, which is not healthy for them. They don't want fruits now, but samosa and fruity," said Hema Malini.

Indians account for 93% H4 visas issued by US: EAM Jaishankar

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in Rajya Sabha stated that Indians today account for 93 per cent of total number of visas issued under H4 category by US. Trump administration has indicated that it will further review the programme. "Ability of spouses of H1B visa holders working in US to work was introduced in 2015. This category of visa is covered in H4 visa. Indians today account for 93% of total number of visas issued in this category. There is a court order to the effect to continue the program. Trump (US President) Administration has indicated that it may review it sometime," said EAM Jaishankar.

Amit Shah accuses Congress for delay in Ram Temple case

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Speaking to the media, Sanjay Dhotre, Minister of State for Human Resource Development spoke on BHU protest. He asserted that protesting against the incident is not the right thing, if there is some discrepancy in system then there are other ways to raise the issue. "I sought information from Vice Chancellor. Such incidents are wrong, if there is some discrepancy in the system then there are other ways to raise it but this (protests) is wrong," said Sanjay Dhotre. Students of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) have been staging protest against the appointment of a non-Hindu professor in Sanskrit Department. The protestors are demanding the removal of 'Feroz Khan'.

Supporting the NRC, he said that if a person living in the country illegally than he is a threat to the nation. Countering CM Banerjee, he said it should not be seen politically. "NRC is not an issue of politics and community rather it's an issue of security of the country and everyone should be united on it, there shouldn't be any politics on it," said Ramdev.

Electoral bonds were used to cover up corruption: Congress MP in Lok Sabha

Suspicious item found in JandK's Anantnag

Posters questioning Delhi Govt over clean water appears in city

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Posters were seen at various locations in Delhi questioning state government and Delhi Jal Board over non availability of clean water. "The Delhi Jal Board Chairman should answer how 21,88,253 cases of diarrhea were registered in Delhi in the last four years if the water is clean," read one of the posters.The quality of tap water was found to be the worst in the national capital. Union Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on November 16 released the much-awaited report on the study of samples of drinking water taken from 20 states across the country, including Delhi.Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MP Vijay Goel criticised Delhi Government over odd- even scheme.

Biodegradable sanitary napkins introduced in Shillong

Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 21 (ANI): A unique step was taken in Meghalaya's Shillong to make people aware of menstrual health. Women's College conducted a special program to make students aware about menstruation's hygiene products. As a part of the program, a vending machine for manufacturing biodegradable napkin was installed. This is for the first time that sanitary napkin vending machine was installed in the Women's College. Biodegradable napkin is made of banana stem fiber with no plastic and no chemicals.

Delhiites wake up to smoggy morning as air quality continues to deteriorate

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): The air quality dipped further as national capital observed a smoggy morning. A thick layer of smog covered the India Gate. People were seen doing morning walk in the smog. Air quality index (AQI) data, as per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), this morning was major pollutant PM 2.5 at 297 ('Poor' category) at Lodhi Road and at 346 ('Very Poor' category) in the area around Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The air pollution level of Delhi is worse due to stubble burning, crackers burning, etc.
