Body of 10-year-old missing girl found in Lucknow

Lucknow (UP), Nov 15 (ANI): Dead body of a 10-year-old girl was found in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow. Incident took place in Gosaiganj police station area. A report was filed at a police station on November 09. Body has been sent for post mortem and investigation is underway.

This cafe in Delhi offers pure oxygen to their customers

New Delhi, Nov 15 (ANI): An oxygen bar in Saket, 'Oxy Pure' is offering pure oxygen to its customers. Oxygen is being offered in seven different aromas (lemongrass, orange, cinnamon, spearmint, peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender). Oxygen bar is providing portable oxygen cans to customers that they can carry easily with them. This initiative has been taken at a time when Air Quality Index (AQI) in the city is in 'severe' category. While speaking to ANI, Store Operator Ajay Johnson said that our product helps in providing some relief. We get 10-15 customers a day. We are also offering portable oxygen cans to customers that they can carry anywhere they want.

Reduced race duration: NGO on organising 'Run for Children' in toxic air

New Delhi, Nov 14 (ANI): After organising race for children on the occasion on Children's Day in toxic air, Co-Founder of NGO Prayas Amod Kanth clarified his organisation's stand. He said that the organisers reduced the run duration and didn't know about air pollution emergency till November 13. "That's (pollution) why we reduced run duration. It was symbolic run. Real program is children's day cultural event for which children were preparing for months. We didn't know about this emergency (air quality) till yesterday," said Kanth. On the occasion of Children's Day, a race for little ones was organised in the national capital on November 14. 'Run for Children' was organised by an NGO 'Prayas'. Dharmendra Pradhan compliments Kerala govt for cooperation in Kochi-Mangalore pipeline project

Wild elephant that killed 5 people caught in Assam's Goalpara

Goalpara (Assam), Nov 14 (ANI): An elephant which had allegedly killed five people was caught in Goalpara district of Assam on November 11, following a search operation that was launched by forest officials. The wild elephant which killed several people in the past couple of months was taken into custody. Assam Forest Department had launched the operation on Nov 09 and engaged six domestic elephants to catch the wild animal.

10 Ministers take oath in Haryana cabinet

Chandigarh, Nov 14 (ANI): The first cabinet expansion of the 14th Assembly of Haryana took place in Chandigarh on November 14. Anil Vij, Kanwar Pal, Sandeep Singh were among Ministers who took oath. Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya administered the oath to all new Ministers. The BJP, which won 40 seats in the assembly elections, formed the government with the support of 10-seat JJP and 7 independents. The Haryana polls were held on 21 October and results declared on 24 October. A day before, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala was allocated 11 departments.

New Delhi, Nov 14 (ANI): On the occasion of Children's Day, a race for little ones was organised in the national capital on November 14. 'Run for Children' race was organised by an NGO 'Prayas'. On November 13, The Supreme Court-mandated anti-pollution authority EPCA ordered closure of schools in the national capital and NCR for the next two days as pollution in the region as air quality is hovering close to emergency levels. Delhi government announced the closure of the school in Delhi on November 14-15, the NGO organised a race for the little ones in the toxic air quality. The air these days is so toxic that the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) advised people to avoid outdoor exposure and work from home. 'Everyone should avoid all outdoor exertion,' warns US-EPA. Health alert has also been issued.
