Prayagraj's low-lying areas partially submerged as Ganga, Yamuna continue to swell

Prayagraj (UP), Sep 19 (ANI): Flood like-situation continued in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj after water level of rivers Ganga and Yamuna continued to rise due to heavy downpour in the region. Incessant rains have led to a flood-like situation in the region with villages near the bank of Ganga river being partially submerged in water. Schools located in Prayagraj city will remain closed for three days starting September 19 in view of the developing situation. As many as 210 people were moved into relief camps near Ganganagar village in the district on Sunday after water flooded into a few villages as rivers continue to swell owing to heavy rainfall in the region.

Rajnath Singh to fly in Tejas aircraft in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Sep 19 (ANI): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to fly in the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, in Bengaluru on September 19. He will fly in twin seat version of the Tejas combat aircraft. The Tejas is an Indian single-engine, delta wing, multirole light fighter designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.

Factory making fake medicines to boost milk productivity busted in Indore, 1 held

Indore (MP), Sep 19 (ANI): A man was arrested by Indore Police on Wednesday (September 18) for running an illegal factory making fake medicines to boost buffalo milk productivity in Dwarakapuri. Acting on a tip-off, the police team busted the factory operated by Bhimsi Bhai, a 34-year-old resident from Gujarat. Soon after this, police called drug department for the investigation of medicines found in large quantity in the illegal factory. As many as 4,000 bottles of medicines, 16 bottles of phenyl, 3 acidic acid canes, 300 l tanker and packaging materials were seized by the police, Drug Inspector Dharmesh Bagoliya said.

Man gives triple talaq to wife in Shivamogga through Whatsapp from Dubai

Shivamogga (Karnataka), Sep 19 (ANI): A man has given triple talaq to his wife through WhatsApp voice message from Dubai. Her wife resides in Karnataka's Shivamogga. Later, the victim lodged a complaint in women's police station Shivamogga. After that her husband forced her to withdraw the complaint and stop sending money. "I don't accept this divorce. Women who suffer childhood trauma likely to deliver first baby earlier life, outside marriage

New Delhi, Sep 19 (ANI): While childhood trauma is known to have poor impact on a woman's midlife health, a new study has uncovered the reason behind it and found that these females are more likely to have their first child both earlier in life and outside of marriage - factors associated with poorer health later in life. These results suggest that early trauma - such as the death of a parent, physical abuse or emotional neglect - may affect young people's decision-making in ways that they can't entirely control. Previous research has shown that childhood trauma is strongly associated with multiple health risks, including cancer, diabetes, stroke and early death, Williams said. The researchers examined data on how old each participant was when she first gave birth and whether she was married, cohabiting or neither. Finally, participants rated their health at or near age 40.
