Bhopal (MP), Mar 05 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Higher Education, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Jitu Patwari said that Congress MLAs who returned from Delhi showed BJP's face to people and not a single MLA of party proved to be 'bikau' (saleable). "All the MLAs who returned from Delhi showed BJP's face to the people. Not a single MLA of ours proved to be 'bikau'. All (4 missing Congress and independent MLAs) of them will also come back," said Patwari.

Bhadohi (UP), Mar 05 (ANI): A school principal in Uttar Pradesh's Bhadohi has set an example for other teachers by providing tablets to students of his school from his own salary. Principal of Prathmik Vidyalay Chitaipur, Arvind Pal bought tablets for students in a bid to provide them digital learning tool. New Delhi, Mar 05 (ANI): After a successful run on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter, the feature of dark mode has been now launched on the instant messaging platform WhatsApp. The mode turns the interface into a dark theme, making usage easy on the eyes. According to The Verge, the new feature in the WhatsApp has been launched after months of beta testing and will be functional on the applications in all iOS and Android mobile phones. The app will automatically switch over to the dark mode if the dark mode has been enabled in the mobile phones at the system level in the phones having either Android 10 or iOS 13. In mobile phones with Android 9, the new theme has to be enabled from the settings menu of the application. New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): After visiting a vandalised school in Brijpuri, Rahul Gandhi said the violence is of no benefit to 'Bharat Mata'. "This school is the future of Delhi. Hate and violence has destroyed it. This violence is of no benefit to Bharat Mata. Everybody has to work together and take India forward at this time," Rahul Gandhi further said. New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders visited violence-affected areas of North-East Delhi. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and Randeep Singh Surjewala also joined the delegation. The leaders visited at several locations including Chand Bagh and New Mustafabad's Brijpuri area. Over 40 people lost their lives in Delhi violence. The violence broke out in national capital on February 23. However, on being asked about the visit, Congress leader K Suresh made a controversial statement by saying, "Congress MPs had so far not visited the riot-affected areas, but IUML and CPI-Left MPs had visited, so we were under tremendous pressure from our constituencies."
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Staying strong in the long ongoing struggle in 2012 gang rape case, Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi thanked President of India for rejecting Pawan's mercy plea and hoped that the new date of death warrant for Nirbhaya's convicts will be the final one. "I thank President of India for rejecting the last mercy. We are now going to file application for a new death warrant. We hope the new date will be the last one and Nirbhaya will get the justice," said Asha Devi with hope. She added, "This has been delayed to such an extent that until the convicts are hanged, I won't be satisfied. I hope that the new date for death warrant that will be generated will be the final one".
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Non-resident Indian (NRI) can now acquire up to 100 per cent equity in Air India. While addressing the press conference after cabinet meeting, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar informed, "Regarding the strategic sale of Air India, now Non-resident Indian (NRI) can acquire 100% of stake in the airlines. Earlier it was 49%."
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Cabinet approved Companies (Second Amendment) Bill, 2019. While addressing the press conference, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, "Cabinet approves Companies (Second Amendment) Bill, 2019. Bill removes criminality under the Act. This Bill further ease of living for law-abiding corporates and de-clogs the criminal justice system in the country." The 72 changes in the Companies Act have also been approved.

The market sentiment was affected after Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that a total of 28 cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed and all international tourists coming to India are being screened at airports. As investors assessed the economic fallout from fast-spreading Coronavirus globally, the BSE SandP Sensex closed 214 points or 0.55 per cent lower at 38,409 while the Nifty 50 slipped by 49 points or 0.43 per cent to 11,254. Except for Nifty pharma and IT, all sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the red with Nifty financial service losing by 1.42 per cent, private bank by 1.71 per cent, metal by 0.74 per cent.
New Delhi, march 4 (ANI): A team of Counter Intelligence Unit, Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested 4 most wanted criminals of gang wanted more than dozen heinous crime from Gurugram. The arrested criminals identified as Jitender Alias Gogi, Rohit Alias Moi, Kuldeep Mann Alias Fajja and Kapil. All the arrested accused are cumulatively carrying a total reward of Rs 10 lakhs fifty thousand. Jitender was running an extremely sophisticated organized crime syndicate. Members of his gang were committing extortion, collecting ransom, protection money and committing car-jacking at impunity. The Special Cell was on the trail of gang members for a long time and traced them to Gurugram, and surrounded their hideout. Total six imported pistols; over 70 live cartridges and one robbed car were recovered from the accused. A case under the relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Special Cell. Further investigation is under progress.
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): After President Ram Nath Kovind rejected the mercy plea of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case convict Pawan, Nirbhaya's lawyer Seema Kushwaha to now file a fresh application in Delhi High Court in the case. She said, "We are moving a fresh application in Delhi court to fix a fresh date for the execution of the four convicts. All the convicts have exhausted their complete rights. The date which will be fixed now will be the final date." Nirbhaya's lawyer Seema Kushwaha also thanked President Ram Nath Kovind to reject the mercy plea.
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan informed that there have been 28 positive cases of coronavirus in India as of now. He said, "From now on, all flights and passengers will be part of universal screening, not just the 12 countries which we had listed earlier. 17 out of 23-24 Italian nationals, including an Indian driver have found positive for coronavirus. They have been sent to at Indo-Tibetan Border Police's (ITBP) quarantine facility in Chhawla. Three cases were from Kerala that have been cured, one from Delhi and his family of six people, one from Telangana and this Italian group. Till now, there have been 28 positive cases of coronavirus in India".

New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that he will not celebrate 'Holi' this year, because of coronavirus and the recent violence which took place in Delhi, in which many people lost their lives. He further said, "People are in pain that is why neither I nor any minister or MLA will celebrate Holi." Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also announced that he will not participate in 'Holi' event to avoid mass gathering.

He said, "We have requested all hospitals in Delhi to develop good quality isolation wards, in order to stay prepared if more cases of coronavirus are suspected in the national capital. We have talked to administration of Delhi to use a cluster approach for stopping coronavirus from spreading. On conducting contact tracing of the person tested positive in Delhi, we came to know that he infected 6 members of his family who are in Agra. All 6 members tested positive for coronavirus."
Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 04 (ANI): Ghaziabad district administration has issued advisory to the schools and private hospitals on coronavirus alert. While speaking to ANI, the District Magistrate (DM) of Ghaziabad, Dr Ajay Shankar Pandey spoke on coronavirus alert. He said, "We have declared an emergency number where any person can call and can give any kind of information related to coronavirus. We have given advisory to schools to aware students about coronavirus." "Private hospitals have also been given advisory regarding coronavirus patients. We have received all negative report of 153 people who were being tested yesterday," Ghaziabad DM added.
