4 explosions rock Assam on Republic Day

Charaideo, Dibrugarh (Assam), Jan 26 (ANI): At least 4 explosions took place in Dibrugarh, Charaideo districts of Assam as the country celebrated Republic Day on Jan 26. First blast took place at a shop in Graham Bazaar located near NH 37. Another blast took place near a Gurdwara in Dibrugarh. Police and other officials have reached the spot. Dog squad team are also present at the crime spot. Further investigations are underway.

Guwahati (Assam), Jan 26 (ANI): Speaking about Assam blast, DGP BJ Mahanta informed that preliminary investigation is indicating the involvement of ULFA."4 blasts have taken place at 4 places including Dibrugarh and Duliajan. No casualty or damage of property has been reported. We suspect ULFA, preliminary investigation is indicating towards that. Investigation is underway," said Assam DGP.
