New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chairperson Swati Maliwal visited Raj Ghat on December 3 ahead of her indefinite hunger strike against rising incidents of rape. She paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Maliwal will sit on hunger strike until she gets assurance from Centre that rapists will be served death penalty within 6 months. Minor girl allegedly raped in MP's Mandsaur

Mandsaur (MP), Dec 03 (ANI): A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur on December 02. A local police lodged an FIR against a man based on written complaint filed by the girl. The accused has been booked under the charges of rape and POCSO Act. Skill development centre opened for specially-abled in J and K's Rajouri

Strict action will be taken against whoever responsible for Sarkeguda encounter: CM Baghel

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Dec 03 (ANI): At least 17 villagers were killed in Sarkeguda area of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh about seven year ago and the judicial commission report has come out to the media. The reports say there is no evidence that the 17 people killed were Maoists and it has detected manipulation in probe after the killings. Speaking on the matter Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, "Strict action will be taken against whoever is responsible for this. The procedure is to table it (judicial commission report) before the assembly and then it is examined by the law department." Kerala nun pens autobiography, outlines 'sexual abuse, harassment by bishops'

Facebook's new tool lets you move your pictures to Google Photos

New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): Facebook has launched a new data portability tool that allows you to move your data between services. In its official blog, Facebook notes that the first tool from its Data Transfer Project is a photo transfer tool that will allow Facebook users to transfer their photos and videos on the platform directly to other services. Brushing teeth frequently is linked with lower risks of atrial fibrillation and heart failure, according to a study published today in the -- European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. Previous research suggests that poor oral hygiene leads to bacteria in the blood, causing inflammation in the body. Inflammation increases the risks of atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) and heart failure (the heart's ability to pump blood or relax and fill with blood is impaired). This study examined the connection between oral hygiene and the occurrence of these two conditions. The retrospective cohort study enrolled 161,286 participants of the Korean National Health Insurance System aged 40 to 79 with no history of atrial fibrillation or heart failure.
