Haridwar (Uttarakhand), Nov 29 (ANI): A man was arrested on Thursday for setting a coach of Rishikesh- Delhi Passenger train on fire after he was apparently not issued an ID card. "My ID card was not being issued, so I set the coach on fire and tore seat covers of the train," the accused said. Police is conducting further investigation in the matter and finding out whether the accused has any criminal record. "He was miffed with the fact that his ID card was not being issued so he did these things. We are conducting further investigation to see if he has any criminal records," said Manoj Kumar Katyal, Additional SP GRP (Government Railway Police), Haridwar.
Sonbhadra (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 29 (ANI): In a bizarre incident, authorities of Salai Banwa Primary School in Kota village diluted 1 litre of milk with a bucket of water to serve kids for the mid-day meal. The diluted milk was distributed among at least 81 students. Assistant Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Gorakhnath Patel said, "I am investigating the matter and action will be taken against the culprits." He also said, "I am being told milk was unavailable, so they were directed by authority to mix water in it, in a balanced quantity. I'm also being told that teachers had gone to get more milk but meanwhile pictures were clicked and distributed them."

"We've heard you on the impact that this would have on the accounts of the deceased. This was a miss on our part," the company tweeted on Thursday. "We will not be removing any inactive accounts until we create a new way for people to memorize accounts," it continued. Earlier, it was reported that any account inactive for over six months could be subject to removal if customers do not log in to their accounts by December 11.
Mumbai, Nov 29 (ANI): NCP leader Jayant Patil said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance) government to have two coordination committees. "Within the government there will be a coordination committee of six ministers including the Chief Minister. Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Nov 29 (ANI): The Uttarakhand government has decided to set up a Char Dham shrine board to run the affairs of the four Himalayan shrines including 51 famous temples located in the state. "Once formed, Chief Minister of the state would head the board as its chairperson. Three MPs, six MLAs, several secretaries and priests of the char dhams will also be included as members in the board," Uttarakhand Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik said.The proposed law to oversee temples would provide for a Hindu cabinet minister to be the chairperson of the board in case a Muslim becomes the chief minister. However, Kedarnath MLA Manoj Rawat said that the government is doing this because they are eyeing the temples donation.

He has allocated a big-budget towards the cause, which should be recognised nationally and internationally," Anwar told ANI.
Mumbai, Nov 29 (ANI): City Football Group (CFG) has acquired a majority stake in Mumbai City FC of the Indian Super League on November 28. The news was revealed in front of the Club's fans by Chairperson of Football Sports Development Limited and Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani. CFG will become the 65 per cent majority shareholder of the Club, alongside existing shareholders, Ranbir Kapoor and Bimal Parekh who jointly hold the remaining 35 per cent of shares. CFG's operations will now include eight football clubs and football-related businesses in 13 offices around the world.
Latehar (Jharkhand), Nov 29 (ANI): As Jharkhand is gearing up to hold assembly elections from November 30, security arrangements have been tightened in Latehar, one of the 13 constituencies, which will vote in the first phase. All of the 13 constituencies fall under Naxal-infested area. "There are two assembly constituencies in Latehar district-Manika and Latehar. We've completed security preparations. We are ready to conduct the polls peacefully. Security forces have also been deployed at various places. Hypersensitive booths have been divided into clusters, super clusters and zones," said Zeeshan Qamar, Deputy Commissioner, Latehar. The 81-member assembly state will go to polls in five-phase between November 30 and December 20. Counting of votes will take place on December 23.
New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Women who get pregnant in old age generally suffer changes in the placenta, which in turn, means that baby boys being born to such mothers are more likely to develop heart problems later in life, a new study has found. Changes occur in the placenta in older pregnant mothers which leads to a greater likelihood of poor health in their male offsprings, pointed out the study published in the journal Scientific Reports.Both male and female fetuses do not grow as large in older mothers, but there are sex-specific differences in changes to placental development and function. These are likely to play a central role in the increased likelihood of later-life heart problems and high blood pressure in males.
