Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan), Nov 22 (ANI): A father fulfilled his daughter's wish on her D-day in Rajashthan's Jhunjhunu. Mahendra Singh arranged a helicopter for her daughter, Reena's 'vidaai' ceremony. Locals also flocked to get a glimpse of the helicopter. Indeed, it shows the beautiful and loving relation of a father and daughter. 'Vidaai' ceremony is a Hindu marriage ceremony when the bride's family bids farewell to her daughter and she rides away with her husband.

Muzaffarpur Police rescue 17 camels

Muzaffarpur (Bihar), Nov 22 (ANI): 17 camels were rescued by Muzaffarpur Police from Kranti area. Out of 17, one has died while three are in critical condition. Speaking on it, SDO of Muzaffarpur (East) Kundan Kumar said, "Regular treatment for all the camels is underway. We are taking care of them. We cannot shift them anywhere because it will be dangerous for them."

Air quality dips to 'poor' category in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): Delhiites woke up to a smoggy morning on Nov 22. A layer of smog was seen at the India Gate. The air quality dipped to 'poor' category. According to AQI at Lodhi Road, major pollutants PM 2.5 and PM 10 were at 261 and 249 respectively. 5 Bhutan nationals arrested for trafficking, smuggling of Pangolin in Siliguri

Jalpaiguri (West Bengal), Nov 22 (ANI): Forest officials of Belakoba range and North Bengal Task Force jointly seized one Pangolin from a car on Nov 21. Primary school in Bhopal functioning from single room, lacks electricity and water

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Nov 22 (ANI): A primary school in Sarotipura area of Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal doesn't have electricity and lacks other basic amenities. Anoop Singh, one of the teachers at the school told ANI that the school had only single classroom for standard 1st to 5th, besides that the school did not having basic arrangement of electricity and water. Anoop said, "There is no arrangement of electricity or water. There is only one room for standard 1st to 5th. It's difficult here."

Dalit groom stopped from entering temple in MP's Burhanpur

Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh), Nov 22 (ANI): In a shameful act, a Dalit groom was allegedly stopped from entering a temple by few people whom he visited just before his wedding to seek divine blessings. The incident took place at Biroda village in Burhanpur district when the groom was on his way to worship just before the departure of his 'baraat'. While speaking to media persons, SDM, Kashiram Badole said, "A complaint was received that miscreants did not allow Dalit families to enter, appropriate action will be taken against them."

BJP dismisses fresh criticism of electoral bonds, says new mechanism brought transparency

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): Dismissing the resurgent criticism of electoral bonds - introduced by the Modi government in its first term - the ruling BJP said the new political funding mechanism has brought in "transparency and accountability", adding that it is in same trajectory of electoral reforms to bring transparency and remove black money from the system. Electoral bonds have a KYC mechanism while old system had no way to assess donor credentials," Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal told reporters in Delhi. Legumes-rich diet lowers cardiovascular disease risk, improves heart health

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): A diet rich in beans, lentils, peas and other legumes lessens the risk of cardiovascular, coronary heart disease and high blood pressure, stated a new study. Published in the journal Advances in Nutrition, researchers in this study reviewed prospective cohort studies that assessed consumption of legumes on the risk for cardiometabolic diseases and related markers. They found that those who consumed the most legumes reduced incidence rates for cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease, and hypertension by as much as 10 per cent when compared to those with the lowest intakes.

Apple to make iOS updates less buggy: Report

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): Apple is reportedly working on making its iOS updates less buggy by making it easier to spot problems early. According to Bloomberg, the iPhone maker is working on adding 'Flags' to features in test versions of iOS. Informed Pak officials, no response yet: MEA on 2 Indians arrested in Pakistan

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar held a weekly press conference in the national capital on November 21. During which he reacted on whether Pakistan acknowledged the arrest of two Indians. He said that India has informed Pakistani officials and since then Indian authorities didn't get any response. "The sudden announcement of arrests is a matter of surprise to us," said Kumar. "Seen reports that two Indian nationals inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan sometime in 2016-17. We had informed the Pakistan officials about it. Since then, we didn't get any response from their end," added Kumar.
