Jind (Haryana), Oct 24 (ANI): Speaking on the trends of Haryana elections, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) cheif Dushyant Chautala on October 24 said the state wants a change, and his party will bring it. Chautala informed that he will hold a meeting with all the newly-elected MLAs of JJP to decide the future course of action. The JJP has won five seats and was leading on another five constituencies in the 90-member house in Haryana.

Kolkata, Bengaluru to be included in surveyed cities for ease of business ranking: Sitharaman

New Delhi, Oct 24 (ANI): Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman said on October 24 that Kolkata and Bengaluru will also be added to the list of cities surveyed towards determining India's position in its Ease of doing Business ranking. She made this statement while addressing a press conference in New Delhi. India has moved up 14 places to be 63rd among 190 nations in the World Bank's ease of doing business ranking released on Thursday (October 24).

We will not go with Shiv Sena, says Sharad Pawar

Mumbai, Oct 24 (ANI): Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief, Sharad Pawar on Thursday said that there is no chance that the party will not go in alliance with Shiv Sena. He said, "NCP-Congress and other allies will decide together, the future course of action. We will not go with Shiv Sena." "We will soon hold a meeting to discuss certain things about the elections, with our supporters and decide our future course of action. We have tried to perform to the best of our abilities," he further added. Counting of votes for 288 seats in the Maharashtra assembly is underway. Kartarpur corridor to remain open throughout the year, except on notified days: MHA Secy

Dera Baba Nanak (Punjab), Oct 24 (ANI): Joint Secy MHA SCL Das, after India and Pakistan signed agreement on Kartarpur Corridor informed that Corridor will be open for Indian pilgrims throughout the year, except on the notified days which will be informed in advanced. While briefing the press, Joint Secretary MHA SCL Das said, "Corridor will be open from dawn to dusk. Pilgrims travelling in morning will have to return on the same day. Corridor will be operational throughout the year, except on notified days, to be informed in advance." "With the signing of this agreement, a formal framework has been laid down for operationalisation of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. The travel will be visa-free. Pilgrims need to carry only a valid passport. Indian pilgrims of all faith and persons of Indian origin can use the Kartarpur Corridor," added SCL Das.

Mahastupa collapses after heavy rain in AP's Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Oct 24 (ANI): A portion of the Mahastupa in Thotlakonda Buddhist Complex has collapsed, following heavy rainfall in the region. There were many attempts to preserve the heritage site. Archaeology department has spent resources in developing the area and preserving the site. However, the stupa was damaged due to incessant rains and major part of it collapsed.

Voting for BDC elections underway in J-K
