Gondia (Maharashtra) / Baramati (Maharashtra) / Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), Oct 21 (ANI): Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Praful Patel along with his wife, Varsha cast his vote at Gondia Assembly constituency. Gopal Agarwal from BJP and Amar Varade from Congress are contesting from this constituency. Senior NCP leader Supriya Sule also cast her vote in Baramati. Her cousin and NCP leader Ajit Pawar is contesting against BJP's Gopichand Padalkar from this constituency. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Congress president Balasaheb Thorat also cast his vote along with his family at Ahmednagar Assembly constituency.

DK Shivakumar facing political vengeance, here to give him confidence: HD Kumaraswamy

New Delhi, Oct 21(ANI): Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy after meeting DK Shivakumar in Tihar Jail stated that this was his personal visit to give confidence to Shivakumar as he is facing political vengeance. "Political issues are different and personal equation is different. This is my personal visit. He is facing political vengeance, I was here to give confidence to him. He is mentally very strong and will fight all this," said Kumaraswamy. HD Kumaraswamy arrived at Tihar Jail in New Delhi to meet Congress leader DK Shivakumar, who is currently lodged in the jail under judicial custody in connection with a money laundering case.

Fire breaks out at godown in Mahrashtra's Bhiwandi

New Delhi, Oct 21 (ANI): Home Minister Amit Shah at Police Commemoration Day Parade at National Police Memorial in New Delhi stated that names of 292 cops who sacrificed their lives for the country will be added to the list today. Voting begins in Haryana

Panchkula/Kaithal (Haryana), Oct 21 (ANI): Voting for Haryana Assembly elections 2019 has been started. 19,578 polling stations have been set up for people to cast their votes. The polling for 90 Assembly seats of Haryana started at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. The counting of votes will take place on October 24. In Haryana, 2,987 have been marked as vulnerable whereas 151 critical polling stations have been identified the live footage of which would be monitored in the control room set up at the headquarters in Chandigarh. More than 40,000 Haryana Police personnel, over 13,000 paramilitary personnel and more than 20,000 Home Guards and Special Police Officers have been deployed for conducting the elections. The Assembly election will witness a multi-cornered contest between BJP, Congress, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP). It is also the first Assembly polls after the BJP-led government's decision to repeal Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Maharashtra Assembly elections: Voting begins for 288 seats

Mumbai/ Pune (Maharashtra), Oct 21 (ANI): Voting for Maharashtra Assembly elections has been started. BJP is contesting 150 seats in 288-member Maharashtra Assembly while its ally Shiv Sena has fielded 124 candidates. The remaining seats have been left for smaller allies. Congress is contesting the polls in alliance with Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra. 40,000 police personnel have been deployed in Mumbai and drones will be used for surveillance as part of security arrangements. Maharashtra Police will also maintain strict vigil throughout the state with its personnel deployed for election duties in all districts along with home guards, companies of CAPF and CRPF for the polling day. It is also the first assembly polls after the BJP-led government's decision to repeal Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Snus, when placed between gums and upper lip delivers high doses of nicotine yet, does not include the combustible by-products found in smoked tobacco. Unlike typical American chewing tobacco or dip, there is no need to spit when using snus. According to study, nicotine use during pregnancy, regardless of whether it is in snus, cigarettes, smoked tobacco or vaped tobacco products, is not safe and may have a negative impact on the future health of the child.
