Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Oct 17 (ANI): Now robot will take orders and serve food replacing the waiters at a 'smart' restaurant in Odisha's Bhubaneswar. It is said to be the first restaurant in eastern India where two indigenously developed robots namely 'Champa' and 'Chameli' are engaged in serving food to the customers. They have voice operated system to greet the customers and wish them. In fact they can speak 'Odia' language too. This restaurant has been started by one Odiya Engineer. "Being inspired by the services by robots in restaurants during my visit to the US, I wanted that kind of service here in Bhubaneswar where a robot can be used in restaurants. Robo Chef is probably the first restaurant in eastern India and the first non-line follower restaurant in India," said Jeet Basha, Robo Chef Restaurant owner.
Kurukshetra (Haryana), Oct 17 (ANI): Nothing seems to have changed for the farmers in Haryana's Kurukshetra as almost all of them still rely on fire to get rid of the leftover stubble and loose straw after paddy is harvested. Latest visuals came from Kurukshetra's Shahabad Markanda where farmers are burning harvest remains. Every year between October and November, air quality deteriorates in Delhi and its neighbouring states, as farmers burn the residue after harvesting paddy to clear the fields and make way for the sowing of wheat, despite there being a ban on burning agricultural residue. The National Green Tribunal in the order passed on (10.12.2015), directed and prohibited agricultural residue burning in any part of the NCT of Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

Chirkunda (Jharkhand), Oct 16 (ANI): Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Raghubar Das said on October 16 that his government provided electricity to 30 lakh houses in Jharkhand. "In 2014, there were 68 lakh families who lived in Jharkhand from which only 38 lakhs families had excess to electricity. We provided electricity to 30 lakhs houses in four and a half years after our government came into power." CM made this statement while addressing a public gathering in Chirkunda.
