Pinterest will let you 'react' to pins in Group Board

New Delhi, Sep 19 (ANI): Pinterest has added a new feature to its platform, allowing users to 'react' to a pin in a Group Board. As Engadget reports, more reactions have been added to make it easier for group members to express their views on a certain idea. The reactions include a pair of clapping hands and a thumbs down option. There's also a new sorting feature that allows you to sort pins by 'Most Reactions' and 'Most Comments'.

Women who suffer childhood trauma likely to deliver first baby earlier life, outside marriage

New Delhi, Sep 19 (ANI): While childhood trauma is known to have poor impact on a woman's midlife health, a new study has uncovered the reason behind it and found that these females are more likely to have their first child both earlier in life and outside of marriage - factors associated with poorer health later in life. These results suggest that early trauma - such as the death of a parent, physical abuse or emotional neglect - may affect young people's decision-making in ways that they can't entirely control. Previous research has shown that childhood trauma is strongly associated with multiple health risks, including cancer, diabetes, stroke and early death, Williams said. The researchers examined data on how old each participant was when she first gave birth and whether she was married, cohabiting or neither. Finally, participants rated their health at or near age 40. Whole country wants Ayodhya case decision to come soon: Shahnawaz Hussain

Police arrests mother, son in rape and blackmailing case in Chhattisgarh's Baloda Bazar

Baloda Bazar (Chhattisgarh), Sep 18 (ANI): Police have arrested 2 people in connection with an incident wherein a woman was allegedly raped and later blackmailed in Chhattisgarh's Baloda Bazar. Police official said, "We received complaint on Sept 12 that Manish (accused) befriended the victim 2 years ago and called her home. His mother gave the victim drink laced with intoxicants. The accused raped her and act was filmed. After the incident, brother-in-law and mother of the accused blackmailed the woman for money." An FIR has been registered in the matter and the accused and his mother are arrested.

3-year jail, Rs 5 lakh fine for offenders of e-cigarettes ban: Health and Family Welfare Secretary

New Delhi, Sep 18 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in Delhi, Secretary Health and Family Welfare, Preeti Sudan on e-cigarettes ban and its punishment proposed said, "The punishment proposed is imprisonment up to 1 year or a fine of up to Rs. 1 lakh, or both for the first offence and imprisonment of 3 years or a fine up to Rs. 5 lakhs or both, for subsequent offence. E-hookahs are also included." Today, Union Cabinet has approved to complete ban on e-cigarettes in the country.

Gilgit Baltistan Thinkers Forum slams Pak at UNHRC for misusing region

Missing for over two months Elephant Lakshmi rescued, mahout arrested

New Delhi, Sep 18 (ANI): Lakshmi, a 39-year-old elephant is the cynosure of all eyes at Sharkarpur police station here, where she is currently lodged after being rescued from her caretaker who had allegedly kept her hidden, for over two months, to prevent forest officials from taking her away. On Tuesday night police traced and rescued Laxmi from near east Delhi's Akshardham temple and also arrested mahout on charges of fleeing with the jumbo on July 6. Two months ago, an FIR was filed when Laxmi went missing after the caretaker allegedly spirited her away. For now, the policemen at the station are taking care of her. Laxmi is Delhi's last elephant, who was supposed to be sent by forest department officials to a rehabilitation centre. This was in accordance with a Delhi High Court order which stated that elephants in Delhi should be kept away from human habitation as it does not provide a natural habitat for these animals.

Union Cabinet gives approval to ban e-cigarettes: Nirmala Sitharaman

New Delhi, Sep 18 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday announced important decision approved after the Union Cabinet meeting. She said cabinet approved to complete ban on e-cigarettes in the country. While addressing a press conference in Delhi, she said, "The Union Cabinet has given approval to ban e-cigarettes. It means the production, manufacturing, import/export, transport, sale, distribution, storage and advertising related to e-cigarettes are banned." "Reports said that there are some who are probably getting into the habit of e-cigarettes as it seems cool. It is believed that there are more than 400 brands, none of which is manufactured yet in India. And they come in over 150 flavours," she added.

5 inmates escape juvenile detention centre in MP's Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Sep 18 (ANI): Five inmates escaped from Juvenile Detention Centre in Madhya Pradesh's Indore by breaking an old window on September 17. The five inmates who escaped from the centre have been identified as Akash, Ravi, Hrithik, Dharmendra and Arun. The incident took place at 1:30 pm in the afternoon. They were serving time at the detention centre after being charged under various sections. While Ravi was charged for murder, Dharmendra was charged for kidnapping and rape. The five escaped while inmates were playing cricket in the playground in jail premises. A search is underway in the case.

Facebook will now let you schedule Instagram, IGTV posts

New Delhi, Sep 18 (ANI): Facebook is extending its scheduling feature to Instagram and IGTV videos. According to TechCrunch, publishers and creators will be able to schedule their Instagram Feed and IGTV content for up to six months. The feature is now open to all creators and publishers with Facebook Pages. However, scheduling a Story is not yet included. In a few months, Facebook promises to add drafting and editing feature to Instagram Feed and IGTV.
