Trump took to his Twitter handle and posted an image of himself with Kardashian West after their meeting at the Oval Office. New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): The Islamic State (IS) terror group claimed responsibility for the deadly shooting attack in Belgium's Liege city, which claimed three lives. The group made the confirmation in their propaganda agency, the Amaq news agency. The prosecutors during the investigation revealed that the shooter identified as Benjamin Herman was also an accused in a previous murder case. They called the shooting attack as an act of terrorism, as per several media reports. Hundreds of people, mostly police officers observed a minute's silence at the Liege city centre to pay their respects to those killed in the attack, while flags were flying at half-mast. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when Herman stabbed two policewomen from behind before snatching their weapons, as per CNN. After killing the two police officers, the attacker opened fire on a parked vehicle, killing a student.

Peshawar, Pakistan (May 30): A human rights activist and Sikh community leader Charanjeet Singh was shot dead by bike-borne assailants in Peshawar in broad daylight on Tuesday. Singh, who had shifted to Peshawar with his family nearly two decades ago, was a highly respectable figure in the region and was known for promoting religious harmony and discouraging violence. Although the exact motive behind the incident is still unknown, community and local political leaders suspect the hand of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) hand in the attack. Kathmandu (Nepal), May 30 (ANI): Nepal's Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada unveiled a Union budget of 1,315 billion Nepali Rupees for the fiscal 2018-19 in a joint session of the House of Representatives and National Assembly on Tuesday. The major focus was laid on transforming the production and development of physical infrastructure. Out of the total budget, government aims to utilise Rs 845.5 billion as recurrent expenditure. Likewise, Rs 314.28 billion and Rs 155.18 billion have been earmarked for capital expenditure and financing provision, respectively. Economic growth in the upcoming fiscal has been projected at 8 per cent.
