New Jersey (United States), July 29 (ANI): A sanctuary in the United States New Jersey is giving second chances to disabled goats after they created prosthetic legs and carts to enable them to wheel themselves around. The video of the goats on wheel is getting viral on the social media. Its Instagram page has more than 500,000 followers, sharing regular photographs and videos of its goats playing and running around.

Amid Doklam stand-off, NSA Ajit Doval holds talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Amid the ongoing standoff between India and China over the Doklam issue, National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval met Chinese President Xi Jinping, in Beijing, on Friday. Earlier on Thursday, Doval met his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi in the first high-level meeting between the two sides since the military stand-off that broke out last month. The meeting came on the sidelines of the Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa (BRICS) meeting.

Nepal PM Deuba expands Cabinet, inducts 19 new Ministers

Kathmandu (Nepal), July 26 (ANI): One and a half months after being sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba expanded his Cabinet by inducting 19 new ministers, on Wednesday. Out of nineteen new ministers, ten are from Nepali Congress, six from the Maoist Center, two from Forum Loktantrik and 1 from CPN (United). The newly inducted ministers were sworn-in today by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

Nepal PM Deuba to visit India in August

Kathmandu (Nepal) July 25 (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is set to visit India next month. The development has been confirmed by the Foreign Ministry of Nepal. Though no specific date has been announced the premiere will be visiting New Delhi in August. The External Affairs ministry in New Delhi has already started the preparations for PM Deuba's visit. The agendas which he will take during his visit are yet to be determined but consultations are underway.

Nepal Parliament endorses Electoral Bill for House of Representatives

Kathmandu (Nepal), July 24 (ANI): The parliamentary meeting held in Kathmandu on Sunday moved ahead with the endorsement of the Electoral Laws pertaining to the Election of House of Representatives as the deadline to hold the three-tier election approaches. Janak Raj Joshi, Lawmaker from Maoist Centre, applauded the proposal from the Home Ministry for introducing Threshold provision, No vote and the mandatory provision to file candidacy from their own permanent address. He also suggested the ministry to include the provision to recall the candidate after being elected. Answering the queries raised by the lawmakers, the proposer of the bills Home Minister, Nepal Janardan Sharma assured lawmakers over the commencement of the elections on time. Devotees throng Pashupatinath temple to pay obeisance to lord Shiva

Protest rally held in demand of Sindh's independence

Sindh (Pakistan), July 18 (ANI): A number of activists from the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), a banned Sindhi organisation in Pakistan, participated in a march to demand independence of 'Sindh' province. Istanbul (Turkey), July 11 (ANI): At the 22nd World Petroleum Congress in Turkey's Istanbul, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan said that India's per capita energy consumption is .55 tons of oil equivalents, which is far below the global average of 1.9 tons.
