MQM founder urges India's citizens and Parliament to help 'persecuted' Mohajirs of Pakistan

London (UK) Feb 13 (ANI): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founding leader Altaf Hussain has appealed to the Indian citizens, Hindus, Sikhs and the Christians to help Mohajirs of Pakistan. Mohajirs are Urdu-speaking nationals and had migrated to Pakistan after the country was carved out of India after partition in 1947. In his message to Hindus, Sikhs and Christians of India, he said that Mohajirs were Indian citizens. Pakistan was not founded by Mohajirs of Pakistan but they were their forefathers who did it. Mohajirs are facing genocide in Pakistan since 1947 and their children are victim of sheer bias and discretion at the hands of military establishment and hence they are appealed that that they must come forward for their help so that they could get rid of atrocities, discrimination and genocide at the hands of the Pakistani military. Fresh protests in PoK against Pak Army, ISI

Muzaffarabad, PoK, 12 February 2019:- A fresh wave of protests has erupted across the occupied region of PoK as people are out on the streets condemning the brutality of Pakistan army and its spy agency ISI. Nepal approaches India seeking two additional ports for trade

Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 10 (ANI): Nepali officials have put forward a proposal seeking two additional Indian ports to facilitate trade with the other nations. Nepal presented forward the proposal to have access to two additional Indian ports during the joint secretary-level meeting of trade secretaries of both the nations which commenced in Nepal's city of lake, Pokhara. Currently Nepal is using Visakhapatnam port of Andhra Pradesh and Haldia port of Calcutta for trade. The meeting which started from January 8 was expected to recommend amendment to the Nepal-India Trade Treaty-1990. Trump nominates US Treasury's David Malpass as next World Bank President

New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday (local time) nominated David Malpass for the candidature in the elections to appoint the next president of the World Bank. Washington Post reported that Malpass, a former Wall Street economist, is currently working as the undersecretary for international affairs at the Treasury Department of the US government. Nepal opposition holds nationwide anti-government protest

Bhaktapur/ Chitwan (Nepal), Feb 05 (ANI): Nepal's opposition Nepali Congress (NC) party on Monday took to the streets protesting against the government. The main opposition claimed the activities of the government were against the interest of the public. The opposition claimed that the anti-government protest rallies were organized in all the 77 districts of the country. The opposition blamed the government of marching against the will of the Constitution; defying it, playing role in consolidating corruption, rape and crime, hefty hike in the market price, tax burden and bad governance. It also protested against government's step of endorsing the National Medical Education Bill which was endorsed despite the protest and the objection. JKNIA chairman Mahmood Kashmiri 'vows' to unmask Pakistan's real face on Kashmir issue

London (UK), Feb 05 (ANI): After being asked to leave from a conference on Kashmir in London, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Independence Alliance (JKNIA), Mahmood Kashmiri alleged that Pakistan does not have any sympathy for Kashmiris, and vowed to "unmask" Pakistan's real face on Kashmir issue. The event was attended by Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the committee room of House of Commons in London. A delegation of Kashmiri nationalists from the platform of JKNIA also went to attend the Conference. The representatives were told by the diplomat that they were a "security risk" at the event. Mahmood Kashmiri also pointed out the gross human rights violations done in Gilgit-Baltistan. However, it was propagating its own agenda on international platforms to mask such acts.

Pashtuns back Baloch cause for freedom from Pakistan

Balochistan (Pakistan), Feb 05 (ANI): In a pre-emptive strike to stop the Pashtuns from backing the Baloch cause of freedom from Pakistan, the security forces heckled, harassed and arrested a group of Pashtun leaders midway, when they were going to attend the funeral of Arman Loni. Arman Loni- A local PTM leader, died earlier after he and his supporters who were peacefully protesting against the growing forced evictions in the region were subjected to open fire of Pakistani state forces. "Ko Banchha Crorepati" premiers in Nepal

Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 04 (ANI): Popular television program in India, Kaun Banega Crorepati's Nepali version, Ko Banchha Crorepati premiered in Nepal on Saturday. The reality program premiered on AP1 Television at 8:30 PM (Local Time) and is produced by SRBN Media. The first season of Nepali version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" is being hosted by Nepali megastar Rajesh Hamal and the title sponsor of the show is Coca-cola.
