Indian community members protest against Pulwama terror attack in Frankfurt

Frankfurt (Germany), Feb 24 (ANI): Members of the Indian community, living in Germany's Frankfurt city, held a protest march on Saturday against Pulwama terror attack. This incident took place on February 14 in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. Indians who are residing in Germany hold Anti-Pakistan protest to condemn this attack and defy terrorism which was perpetrated from Pakistan. They were joined by members of Baloch, Pashtun and Sindhi community as they are also facing state sponsored terrorism in Pakistan. Protest march was held from Frankfurt central station to centre town.

Terrible situation between India and Pakistan: Trump

Washington DC (US), Feb 23 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump commented on the escalating tension between India and Pakistan post Pulwama attack. He said, ''There's a terrible thing going on right now between Pakistan and India. It's a very bad situation and it is a dangerous situation between the two countries. We would like to see it stop. Scores of angry US-based Indians protest against Pulwama terror attack in New York

New York (United States), Feb 23 (ANI): More than hundred United States (US)-based Indians protested outside the Pakistan consulate in New York against Pulwama terror attack on Friday. This attack was carried out by Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) on February 14 in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. This attack took away life of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawans. Waving the tricolour, protestors raised slogans like "Pakistan Murdabad," "Global terror Pakistan, LeT Pakistan," "9/11 Pakistan," "26/11 Pakistan," "Osama Bin Laden Pakistan" amongst others. They also held placards which read "Pakistan-a terrorist nation" and "Pakistan progress the country not Terrorism" at the demonstration. Time to join hands and unite to completely eradicate terrorism: PM Modi

Seoul (South Korea), Feb 22 (ANI): On his last day of South Korea visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on the threat of terrorism which is plaguing the entire world. Having received the 14th Seoul Peace Prize, he said, "A few weeks before the Seoul Olympics (1988), an organisation called Al-Qaeda was formed. Today, radicalization and terrorism have become global and are the biggest threats to world peace and security." He emphasised on the importance of working together to fight with terrorism. He said, "Time has come to join hands and unite to completely eradicate terrorist networks. Only by doing so can we replace hate with harmony." He ended his speech with theme song of 1988 Olympic which was held in Seoul, South Korea. He said, "I would like to quote a portion of the 1988 Olympics Theme Song, as it captures the hopeful spirit for a better tomorrow for all- Hand in hand, we stand, all across the land, we can make this world, a better place in which to live."

President Moon strongly condemned Pulwama attack: MEA

Seoul (South Korea), Feb 22 (ANI): South Korean President Moon Jae-in, who hosted Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Seoul, "strongly condemned" the Pulwama attack and labeled it as terrorist attack, Ministry of External Affairs said in the South Korean capital. "There was an exchange of views between PM Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae-in on global and regional situations. President Moon Jae-in strongly condemned the Pulwama attack as a terrorist attack," said Vijay Thakur Singh, Secretary (East), MEA. Besides the two leaders taking up the agenda forward against terrorism, trade between India and South Korea was also discussed during PM Modi's visit, and both the countries has set the bilateral trade target to $50 billion from current $21 billion. "India and South Korea bilateral trade is at 21 Billion and the target that has been set is 50 Billion by the year 2030," Thakur said.

PM Modi receives Seoul Peace Price for 2018

Seoul (South Korea), Feb 22 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded 14th Seoul Peace Price in Seoul on Friday. PM Modi accepted the award and expressed his deepest gratitude. He said, "This award does not belong to me personally but to the people of India, the success India has achieved in the last 5 years, powered by the skill of 1.3 billion people." He expressed his honour for being awarded Peace Prize on the year of 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
