Anthony Hayward steps down from Tata Steel Board

Anthony Hayward, director on the board of Tata Steel, has stepped down with effect from September 18, 2009. He was an independent and non-executive director on the board.

He was appointed a non-executive director of Corus in April 2002.

As on 18th July, 2009, the board of directors of Tata Steel constituted of 13 members under the chairmanship of R N Tata. This includes 7 independent members, namely Nusli N Wadia, Andrew Robb, Jacobus Schraven and Ishaat Hussain.
