Haryana governor survives plane crash

Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia had a miraculous escape Thursday when his plane crashed immediately after taking off from the airport here, official sources said.

The plane went down barely 15-20 feet from the runway, the sources said. It was not immediately clear what caused the accident.

The governor was pulled out of the plane and rushed to a hospital. No one suffered serious injuries in the accident, the sources added.
