 "Mahindra defence arm to probe Rs 5,600-crore NSEL payment crisis")
The Economic Offences of Wing (EoW) of Mumbai police has appointed Mahindra Special Services Group, an arm of Mahindra Defence Systems, as the digital forensic auditor to probe into the Rs 5,600 crore National Spot Exchange (NSEL) payment crisis.
The digital forensic audit of the computer servers of NSEL and its parent Financial Technologies India or FTIL (now renamed 63 Moons) currently underway, could bring out fresh clues in the investigation that will soon enter its fifth year. The group said it was cooperating with all investigating agencies.
