MOIL gains on raising manganese ore prices

Increased prices of different grades of manganese ore are for the July-September 2012 quarter

MOIL Limited is trading higher by 3% at Rs 286 after the company said it has increased prices of different grades of manganese ore in the range of 12.5 - 15% for the July - September 2012 quarter.

“In line with company’s business practice of quarterly revising the prices of manganese ore, the company has increased prices of different grades of manganese ore in the range of 12.5% to 15% for the quarter July-Sep. 2012,” the company said in a filing.

A combined 16,536 shares have changed hands on the counter in opening deals on both the exchanges.
