The MI-8 helicopter crashed at around 4 p.m. shortly after taking off. It was carrying five people, including three crew members and two workers. All of them died on the spot, according to Ukrainian interior ministry's press service.

Five killed in Ukraine chopper crash

Five people were killed after a military helicopter crashed Tuesday in Ukraine's Kirovograd region, about 300 km from the capital city, Xinhua reported.

The MI-8 helicopter crashed at around 4 p.m. shortly after taking off. It was carrying five people, including three crew members and two workers. All of them died on the spot, according to Ukrainian interior ministry's press service.
