2nd year of VIDS program launched

Ten top PhD scholars from India will be awarded AUD 90,000 each and additionally have their fees waived by approximately a similar sum over a period of three years, at one of the nine selected universities in Victoria in that country starting 2013, a release here said.
"The programme is one of a number of strategic engagement opportunities initiated by the Victorian Government to strengthen bilateral relationships between Victoria and India," the release said adding the ten scholarships will cover living costs and education related travel.
