4,000 flautists to perform on one stage in Nashik

Eyeing to accomplish a record-breaking feat, 4,000 flautists will perform on one stage in the city tomorrow.

The event titled 'Venunaad' will be held at Tapovan grounds in the city, in which the flautists will perform under the guidance of renowned flutist Pt Ronu Majumdar.

The event is being organised by Art of Living Nashik Centre & Vyakti Vikas Kendra.

Flute maestro Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia will be the chief guest for the evening, according to the organisers.

A huge stage of 80,000 square feet has been constructed on the bank of river Godavari, opposite Janardhanswami Math on Nashik-Aurangabad Road.

Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be present on the occasion.
