AFL fish processing plant to be mordernised

The Rs 15 crore plant will have installed processing/freezing capacity of 75 mt per day and cold storage capacity of 2000 mts.

The new facility was expected to be completed by December.

The project would contribute to the development of fisheries in the Islands and benefit local fishermen, said Shrivastava, also chairman of the Andaman Fisheries Limited.
