Two engineering students feared to have drowned in Narmada

Two students of a government engineering college in Jabalpur district have gone missing after slipping into the deep water of the Narmada near here, police said.

Police have deployed divers to search for them (in case they have drowned), said sub-inspector O P Dholpuri of Ghansor police station.

Kshitij Pratap Singh (20) and Sidhant Singhai (20) were out for a picnic with six other students from the college.

While bathing, Kshitij slipped into deep water, and Sidhant, who tried to help him, also went missing, the officer said.
