HC ruling boosts RNRL 24%; RIL plunges 7%

Reliance Natural Resources (RNRL) skyrocketed 29% to a high of Rs 112 and finally ended with a gain of 24% at Rs 108. The counter saw heavy trades of over 105 million shares on the BSE today.

On the other hand, Reliance Industries (RIL) slumped 8% to a low of Rs 2,172 and finally ended 7.5% lower at Rs 2,180. Theh counter witnessed comparatively hefty trades of 2.12 million shares today.

Reliance Natural Resources has soared after the Bombay High court ruled in favour of the company.

The stock opened up 2% at Rs 89. It slipped into the red to a low of Rs 86. However, after the High Court ruling it zoomed 13% to Rs 98.5. Over 19 million shares have been traded on the BSE so far.

Bombay high court gave judgement upholding the Reliance Natural Resources plea. Accordingly, Reliance Natural Resources would get assured supply of 28 mmscmd.

On the other hand, Reliance Industries has slumped 6% to Rs 2,219. Over 922,508 shares have changed hands at the counter.
