Business Process Outsourcing company (BPO) Aditya Birla Minacs, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Nuvo, on Monday said it has set up a new center in Mexico. The company said it has also partnered with Qualfon, a BPO provider for setting up the new facility. The company officials said the new center will provide customer support services to its clients in North America and also to expand its presence in the Latin America region.

According to the agreement, Qualfon will partner with Minacs to provide customer service support in English and Spanish to its clients.

“With this new center, we are strengthening our Latin American presence and solution offering to add to Minacs’ presence in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic,” said Anil Bhalla, COO, North America and Europe, Aditya Birla Minacs. The new facility with a seating capacity for around 600 people will offer a wide range of facilities to employees and also to the company's clients, the company said.

Presently, Qualfon employs more than 10,000 employees across Mexico, Costa Rica, Guyana, and the Philippines. This partnership will enable Aditya Birla Minacs to expand its operational base in Central America and to capitalize the market opportunities in the region, company spokesperson added.
