Arvind eyes billion dollar retail turnover

Stepping up on its retail plans across the country, Arvind Mills announced that the company would look to reach a sales turnover of a billion dollars by 2012.
 
The company intends to achieve the target by expanding its value retail chain 'Megamart'.
 
Arvind Mills will also launch large format value stores called 'Megamart Outlet Centre' which will be spread across an area of 50,000 sq ft to 60,000 sq ft, said a company release.
 
It has signed up properties in Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad to set up three of such large format stores this fiscal.
