Asset Homes to launch 9 mega projects

Asset Homes, a newly formed Kochi-based construction company, will launch nine mega projects, including digital homes in Kerala.

The group will also embark on a new concept in construction -- close relation groups (CRG) -- for the first time in the country. It proposes an investment to the tune of Rs 125 crore for the first phase of its flats/villa/CRG homes project.

Addressing a press conference, K A Mohammed Salim, director of the company, said that they would construct 500 homes in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, including 403 flats, 55 villas and 42 CRG homes within two years, each carrying a price tag ranging between Rs 15-85 lakh.

The cost of each villa would be between Rs 55-85 lakh. The construction work would begin by December this year.

To promote and market the project, Asset Homes will participate in the builders'' exhibition being organised by the Kerala Builders' Forum in Dubai.

Elaborating on CRG homes, Salim said that it is a new concept in the country, where 5-6 close relatives can live together in an apartment complex to be constructed with world-class technology.

The company proposes to construct them according to the needs, ideas and tastes of prospective customers.

The proposed project at Kakkanad containing 150 digital flats would have the most sophisticated digital features like bio-metric doors, which operate by sensing finger prints, wi -fi network, automated gate operating systems, digital lockers, VOIP phones, camera controlled digital alarm security systems and video door phones.

The company would also provide eco-friendly facilities like modern waste management system, rainwater storage, water re-cycling system, herbal garden and three-lane jogging track, apart from the regular amenities like swimming pool, dance plaza, volleyball and squash courts.

He added that flats would be constructed at Thripunithura, Edappally, Kakkanad and Maradu in the first phase, while exclusive villa project would be at Edappally.

CRG homes would come up at Eroor, Edappally, all suburbs of Kochi and at Kawdiar in Thiruvananthapuram.
