Ayurveda hospital at T'puram

The Thrissur-based ayurveda major Kandamkulathy Group on Thursday kicked off operations of its Rs 3-crore Kandamkulathy Ayurveda Super Specialty Hospital here at Vattiyoorkavu.
 
According to KP Wilson, managing director, the 25-room super specialty hospital will have a 40-bed facility along with added features like yoga centre, meditation room, herbal garden, indoor games and a library.
 
Besides, it would provide membership facility which would offer members free health checkup once a month.
 
The hospital has also entered into an agreement with Technopark-based Accentia Technologies to offer ayurvedic treatment incentives to its employees. A memorandum of understanding to this effect was inked by Wilson and Accentia Technolgies CEO Pradeep Vishwambharan.
 
Wilson added that the group has also started operations of its Ayur Soukhyam clinics across the state.
 
To be run on franchisee agreements, these will have the group's doctors offering their services at the clinics. The group plans to set up around 250 Ayur Soukhyam clinics across the state. It clocked revenues of Rs 25 crore last fiscal, and expects Rs 40 crore this financial year.
