Bellezza plans to expand

Nagpur-based beauty salon chain Bellezza has planned to open 250 salons across India in coming three years, top company leadership informed.

Bellezza will open a salon unit in Rajkot, its first ever in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. So far, the salon chain has 32 salons in the country. “We are targeting to open 250 salons in India by 2013. Out of these we have already started 33 salons and 15 more will be opened by March 2011”, said Mubarak Kanoje, managing director of Bellezza on the occasion of a press meet in Rajkot.

He said, “The all 250 salons will be company-owned and company will invest about Rs 30 to 40 lakh per salon. Right now we have no plans to work on franchisee model.”
