Berkley forges partnership with Italian brand Pinellii

Italian lifestyle fashion brand —Pinellii has forged hand with Chandigarh-based player Berkeley Retails Limited to retail their lifestyle and accessory products in Indian market.

Under the agreement, Pinellii has given the licence to Chandigarh-based Berkley retail to manufacture and retail Pinellii products, not only in Indian market but across Asian market. Sanjay Dahuja, MD, Berkely Retails Limited, said the company plans to invest Rs 100 crore for opening 75 stores in the year 2012-13.

The money would be invested through equity only.

Dahuja added to begin with company would be opening 7 stores in UP north market including Chandigarh and Punjab and later on has plans to venture into all major metro cities across India.
