Bhel appoints CEO of Southern Region -power sector

Rajiva K Sood, general manager - in charge, has taken over as chief executive officer of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd’s power sector - southern region, with effect from December 5. Prior to this, he was heading the construction works at 2X600 Mw Shree Singaji thermal power plant, Khandwa district, Madhya Pradesh. The power sector - southern region is engaged in the business of construction and execution of thermal, nuclear, hydro and industrial power plants in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Puducherry, a company release said here on Tuesday.
