Birla Shloka gets Rs 152 cr project from Maharashtra govt

The Mumbai-based company provides end-to-end solutions in sales and services of various educational products

Yash Birla group-owned Birla Shloka Edutech today said it has bagged a Rs 152-crore project from the Maharashtra government for providing ICT (Information and Communication Technology) solutions for 850 schools.

In a filing to the BSE, Birla Shloka said "the company has received an order from School Education Department, government of Maharashtra for implementation of ICT for 850 schools with a total project value of Rs 152 crore."

The Mumbai-based company provides end-to-end solutions in sales and services of various educational products to various educational institutes and government organisations.

The company is also specialises in providing IT infrastructure and imparting IT and IT enabled education in schools of various boards. This includes setup of computer labs, digital classroom solutions and audio visual solutions.
 

Shares of the company today rose by 9.88% to settle at Rs 4.45 apiece from its previous close at the BSE.
