BoB-Bhubaneswar gets new regional head

Golak Bihari Panda has joined as the new regional head of Bank of Baroda-Bhubaneswar region. Panda started his career as a bank officer in 1983 and worked in different capacities in Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. In 2008, he was promoted to the rank of chief manager.

After working efficiently as a chief manager, he was promoted to become the assistant general manager. In 2012, while working as the branch head at the India Exchange branch in Kolkata, he was promoted to the post of deputy general manager.

Panda, during his tenure as the regional head is likely to give more emphasis on areas like corporate credit, retail credit and SME finance.
