ACC bottomline down to Rs 103.89 crore

Associated Cement Companies (ACC) has posted a net profit of Rs 58.72 crore for the quarter ended March 2003 as compared to Rs 52.52 crore for the quarter ended 31 March 2002. Total income (net of excise) increased to Rs 792.85 crore (Rs 789.14 crore).

The company posted a net profit of Rs 103.89 crore for 2002-03 as compared to Rs 130.43 crore in the year ended March 2002.

Total income increased to Rs 2,988.51 crore (Rs 2904.51 crore). The consolidated profit for 2002-03 is at Rs 121.34 crore (Rs 127.25 crore). The board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share for the year ended 31 March 2003.

 

GAIL net profit rises to Rs 1,607.01 crore

GAIL India has posted a net profit of Rs 531.03 crore for the quarter ended March 2003 as compared to Rs 336.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2002.

Total income (net of excise) increased to Rs 3,079.48 crore (Rs 2,679.55 crore). The company posted a net profit of Rs 1,607.01 crore for the year ended March 2003 as compared to Rs 1,185.84 crore in 2001-02.

BHEL bottomline edges up to Rs 517 crore

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has posted a net profit of Rs 376.10 crore for the quarter ended March 2003 as compared to Rs 366.54 crore for the quarter ended 31 March 2002.

Total income increased to Rs 3260.84 crore (Rs 3166.81 crore). The company posted a net profit of Rs 517.06 crore for the year ended March 2003 as compared to Rs 467.95 crore in 2001-02.

Coromandel Fertilisers net down 40.65%

Coromandel Fertilisers has recorded a 40.65 per cent fall in net profit and a 11.43 per cent drop in sales for 2002-03.
