Cotton King to expand its network of stores

BS Reporter Mumbai/ Pune

Pune-based clothing manufacturer ‘Cotton King’ is expanding its presence in other parts of India. Cotton King is launching five stores in Hyderabad on franchise basis. This is company's first venture out of Maharashtra. It has launched new range of shirts "Indigo Dye" today in Pune.

Commenting on this, Pradeep Marathe, director, Cotton King Private Limited said, "We are committed to value for money. We have strong base in Maharashtra and developed our franchise business almost in all the cities in Mahrashtra. Now, we are opening five stores in Hyderabad very soon. Later, we will expand in Bangalore and other southern states."

He added, "Indigo Dye being a natural dye is best applied on 100 per cent cotton, thus we thought of developing a different range with this feature and are now introducing the range of ‘Indigo Dyed’ shirts in checks and stripes format. This new ‘Indigo Dyed’ range of shirts will not only offer variety in patterns like checks and stripes but will also come with its most admired features like color depth and the fading effect with use."

Cotton King has a manufacturing unit at Baramati spread across 84000 square feet, with 350 employees working where the pro-wash process is conducted. It has a turnover of Rs 36 crore annually.

This range of ‘Indigo Dyed’ shirts will be available in all the ‘Cotton King’ stores with over 15 different designs from October 14 and shall be priced at Rs 795.
