DERC pulls up BSES

The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has pulled up BSES' distribution arms BSES Rajdhani Power and BSES Yamuna Power for inadequate progress on electric meter installation and has directed them to ensure that adequate investments are made to strengthen the distribution network.

DERC had earlier directed BSES to complete installation of electronic meters, and asked them not to replace electronic meters provided by the erstwhile Delhi Vidyut Board unless very necessary.
