Edelweiss Capital net up 49% to Rs 65 cr

Financial services company Edelweiss Capital today said its consolidated net profit rose by 49.24 per cent to Rs 65.07 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, over the same period last year.

Total income rose to Rs 260.57 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 249.59 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal, Edelweiss Capital said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

On standalone basis, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 5.06 crore in the quarter under review, up 6.75 per cent from Rs 4.74 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
